Winterblitz 2024 Results

SUMMARY:

We started the day with 24 main categories and split most resulting in 49 separate main categories when all was said and done. Below are the results. The split description is in ALL CAPS. I did my best with handwriting guesses and erred on the side of it was better to get this out to you than to agonize if I made an error in tank description. I made every attempt to get contestant names right, there were one or two tough ones – my apology if I butchered a name.

24 Main Categories

5 not-split

14 split two ways

4 split three ways

1 split four ways (900 Allied WWII)

We promise, next year we will write on table forms what the split was so that when you leave, you will have a better understanding of the splits.

THE STATS:

Contestants – 64 contestants!!! We grew to 64 contestants – up from 53 last year (a 20.7% increase)

Entries – 368 Entries – down from the 376 last year (a 2.0% decline)

Overall, this is positive, it was good to see such a big increase in contestants – next year we will have push Richard Kern and Matt Reeves to build more!

We felt that the space on the tables left room for many more entries….lots of space to grow next year.
