When is Winterblitz 2026?

Winterblitz has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026. Everything stays the same.

Is there a Friday Night Dinner?

Yes!!!! We will gather at Tad's Louisiana Cooking located at 1161 William D Fitch Parkway in College Station (5 minutes from the show). We will start gathering at 6 pm on Friday February 27th

Can I Pre-Register?

Yes! We encourage pre-registration. If you have already registered for the event, your pre-registration carries over to February 28th.

How do I Pre-Register

1. Go to winter-blitz.com and fill out one SUMMARY FORM and one TABLE FORM per model that you plan to enter. Example - if you enter 5 models you will have ONE SUMMARY FORM and FIVE TABLE FORMS.

2. Your SUMMARY FORMhas a FEE tally column. Example - 5 models will be $13 to register.

3. Contact Brandon at Brandon@contractorscfo.com for your contestant number. Add your contestant number to ALL FORMS where indicated.

4. Email ONLY the SUMMARY FORM to Brandon@contractorscfo.com

5. Pre-pay by sending a PayPal to Brandon@contractorscfo.com (please send "friends and family"). Example - 5 models would be $13 PayPal

6. Print your TABLE FORMSand bring to the show with your models. Place your models on the tables in the designated category for each model (look for signs) and place the TABLE FORM for that model next to the model.

7. If you PREPAY you will STILL have to pay the MUSEUM entry fee day of show which is $6. Note - this is how the Museum pays for their day. Please do not forget to pay the Museum before placing models out on the table. This is critical.

8. If you do not PREPAY your models, you will pay inside the contest room once you pay the MUSEUM.

9. PREPAY contestants will AUTOMATICLLY be added to the DOOR PRIZE drawing.

If you PREPAY, you DO NOT have to wait in line or check in day of show. Simply place models on the table, buy some raffle tickets and enjoy the vendor room.

The Theme

The Winterblitz 2026 Theme will be Military Support Vehicles. Any miliitary vehicle that can be consider support. This can be tracked, half-tracked and rubber wheeled vehicles. Think transportation, engineering and medical. All nations, all eras and all scales. Building a kit that you do not know if it is a support vehicle - ask us. For clarification, the presence of a 50-caliber gun on a military truck does not void eligibility. A gun truck would not be considered a support vehcile.

Tank of the Year?

Tank of the Year is a Best of Award. The spirit of Tank of the Year is to each year select ONE type of tank and recognize the BEST version of that tank (or variant of that tank) - ANY SCALE, ANY ERA. The Winterblitz along with the Houston Armor Club has voted on the German 38T and all its variants.

SPECIAL NOTE - ANY 38T IS ELIGIBLE - regardless of what country is using it and what variant of 38T it may be.

Open to Public

YES!!!!! The event is open to the public. Whether you are a modeler or not, the museum and the model contest is open to the public. The museum charges the normal entry fee and viewing the contest is at NO additional charge (unless of course you are entering the contest). We encourage ALL to come see the museum and the models.

We recommend the Best Western Plus in College Station. The hotel is new and clean and less than 10
