A fun laid back-back show for armor and figure enthusiasts set amongst REAL historic artifacts!

Tank of the Year?

The Theme?

The theme for Winterblitz 2024 will be The Battle of the Bulge - and the 80th anniversary of the last major German offensive during World War 2. The battle lasted for five weeks from December 16, 1944 to January 28, 1945. The battle was fought in the Ardennes Region in between Belgium and Luxembourg. The winner of the 2024 Theme Award will be the vehicle, figure or diorama that best captures the Battle of the Bulge spirit. Both Allied and Axis entries are eligible. Thie is NOT an American only theme!

Tank of the Year?

Tank of the Year is a new Best of Award. The spirit of Tank of the Year is to each year select ONE type of tank and recognize the BEST version of that tank (or variant of that tank) at the show - ANY SCALE, ANY ERA. To help us select, the gents at Houston Armor Club took a vote and the SHERMAN won! The 2024 Tank of the Year is the M4 SHERMAN. Lots of options here for builds including variants. So, build an M4 Sherman tank!!!

1. Increased number of Best of Awards.

2. Increased number of main categories.

3. Main category medals to be placed on table post judging. We will announce YOUTH and BEST OF AWARDS during award ceremony plus raffles and stuff.

4. Risers - we promise, we will have risers on the tables (back savers).

5. Winterblitz mugs - will be available for purchase day of the show.
